Sarson ka Saag Using Shezan Canned Saag

Ingredients:

  • Shezan Canned Sarson Ka Saag
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 2–3 green chilies
  • 1 tbsp ginger, chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ghee or mustard oil
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste

Method: 

  1. Prepare Masala:
    • In a separate pan, heat ghee/mustard oil.
    • Add ginger, garlic, and onions. Sauté until golden.
    • Add tomatoes, turmeric, and chili powder. Cook until oil separates.
  2. Combine:
    • Stir this masala into Shezan Sarson Ka Saag (Canned). Simmer together for 10–15 min on low heat for flavors to blend.
  3. Finish & Serve:
    • Top with a spoon of fresh ghee or white butter.
    • Serve hot with makki ki roti, jaggery (gur), and buttermilk or lassi.
